Staff Leaving - Miss Lennon

I am writing to advise that, following her successful qualification as a Teacher of the Deaf (ToD), Miss Lennon has secured a new role in Colchester utilising her skills and talents and will leave Mildmay Primary School at the end of this term.

It has been a very difficult decision for her to leave Mildmay but given that her long-term career intention has been to work as a ToD, when the opportunity arose, it was too much to ignore.

Importantly for parents of children in Puffin 6, I am delighted to also report that we have already appointed an experienced Year 6 teacher to take Miss Lennon’s place and we look forward to welcoming Miss H Stares (officially) in January;  she has already made arrangements to visit us this term for a fluid handover.

Everyone at Mildmay wishes Miss Lennon every success in her new role and will miss her being a part of our team. I hope you will join us in helping make her final weeks at Mildmay memorable and in wishing her the very best for a successful career ahead.
