Mildmay Primary School

with a Resource Base for Deaf Children

“Growing, Caring and Learning Together”

Headteacher's Welcome

Mildmay Primary School will be entering its third year in September 2024 following the merger of the two long-standing and successful Mildmay schools in September 2022.

I am honoured to be the headteacher of this school and always feel privileged to be so well supported by the entire Mildmay community.

I am extremely confident that the school will continue to build on all that has gone before and that we will all move forward together, seizing the opportunities presented to us and never forgetting the legacy and personality of the infant, nursery and junior schools from which our primary school has risen.

It is my intention that we will provide the highest quality educational experience in the area for children aged 3-11 years in order that, for generations to come, children can look back at their time at Mildmay with fondness, pride and happy memories; much like the generations who have gone before.

We are extremely proud to include the Resource Base for Deaf Children as part of our provision at the school and continue to offer a high quality, inclusive and integrated education for up to 30 deaf children from the Essex community.

At Mildmay Primary School, we are ably supported by the family of schools and colleagues within Bridge Academy Trust; including two infant schools, four other primary schools, four secondary schools and a dedicated central team all of whom work with us to ensure our vision and aspirations can be met.

I am a firm believer that children will learn best if they are engaged in and enjoying the experience. Therefore, Mildmay Primary School will always seek to put your child’s wellbeing and engagement at the heart of our decision making in order that all children have the opportunity to be the best version of themselves, explore and find their talent and make progress towards their full potential.

This is a fantastic time to be part of the Mildmay community and we are delighted that you have chosen to entrust your child’s education with us. This is going to be a fabulous journey!

I extend a very warm welcome to you all from the entire team at Mildmay Primary School.

Kindest regards,

Dominic Mulholland

Headteacher
