“Growing, Caring and Learning Together”

Year Three

We have been busy this term learning about the Stone Age. We have produced timelines of the era, learnt how they lived and tried our own cave painting. For our Stone Age Day we made spear heads out of soap, made hand prints and created cave drawings. We also threw 'spears' and discovered how hard it must have been to have a successful hunt!

We have also learnt about rocks and soils. We completed investigations to see which rock is the most permeable, durable or dense.  We also completed a soil investigation to see which soil is the most permeable. Our clay / loam soil was the most permeable.

In PSHE we learnt all about online safety and learnt some songs to help us make good choices.
