Sporting Opportunity

As a member of Chelmsford Schools Sports Partnership and holder of the Platinum School Games Award, providing children with the opportunity to develop, display and enjoy sporting talents, events, occasions and activity is really important to us at Mildmay Primary School.
A designated Sports Co-ordinator explores and exploits as many external sporting opportunities as possible, be they competitive or not. Over the last twelve months, children of all ages at the school have been able to participate and/or compete in sporting events such as tennis tournaments, netball leagues, girls and boys football, bowling, archery, hockey, cross-country, athletics, fitness, Boccia, curling, basketball...
Above all the events promote team spirit, support and encouragement for all and excellent sportsmanship.

Mildmay Primary School is also keen to support our pupils to pursue their sporting goals outside of the school environment. We currently have one motorsport champion, an Arsenal Academy footballer, and three cheerleaders who will be taking part in an international event in Florida later this year.
