Space Mission Badges
We invented our own imaginary space mission in groups and together designed a mission badge to represent it. We then created these using felt applique and a variety of different stitches.
Visit from E2V
We enjoyed a visit from some engineers who work for E2V. They set us the challenge to construct a device that would protect an egg. Later we tested our creations on a special machine.
Viking Day
During our Viking day visit from History Off The Page we had the chance to try out a variety of Viking crafts. These included weaving, clay work and tooling some copper to create an amulet. We even made our own candles and ink to write with. We ground up charcoal and gum arabic and combined it with water.
