SKETCHES OF THE HUMAN EYE (SCIENCE/ART) (top to bottom - Lily S, Chae, Lola)

Summer's anatomical diagrams!

As part of our 'Light' topic in science, we applied various sketching skills to draw the human eye. This then linked to drawing and labelling the anatomy of the human eye and learning how we see.

PERISCOPES - LINKED TO OUR WW1 TOPIC, SCIENCE AND DT

We have learnt all about how they used periscopes in the WW1 trenches and how important this invention was. We have proved that light travels in straight lines and applied this theory to learning about how a periscope works. We used recycled cereal boxes and mirrors to construct a working periscope!
