Before the two schools merged, the Friends of Mildmay Junior School, under the leadership of Karen Aslett and Rebecca Carter, raised significant funds for the benefit of the school. A successful PTA is something that we would really like to re-establish for Mildmay Primary School in order to be able to fund additional projects for all the children.

Friends of Mildmay Primary School (FOMPS) is already a registered charity with a healthy account balance, but it does need a new leadership committee. We have in the past had discos, fetes, parties, quiz events, picnics and much more; to be fair; a new committee would probably benefit from some new thinking too.

If a PTA committee is something that you would like to be a part of, and you have creative or organisation genes that you’d like to put to great use for your child‘s school, then please register your interest by emailing parents@mildmayprimary.org and writing 'FOMPS Committee Volunteer' in the subject line. We will host an introductory meeting with all interested parties once we know who you are. There is a significant commitment needed from committee members, but it would be great to have a good sized group to share the load – I already have staff volunteers to represent the T in PTA.
