Mildmay Primary School

with a Resource Base for Deaf Children

“Growing, Caring and Learning Together”

Friends of Mildmay Primary School

Before the two schools merged, the Friends of Mildmay Junior School, under the leadership of Karen Aslett and Rebecca Carter, raised significant funds for the benefit of the school. A successful PTA is something that we would really like to re-establish for Mildmay Primary School in order to be able to fund additional projects for all the children.

Friends of Mildmay Primary School (FOMPS) is already a registered charity with a healthy account balance, but it does need a new leadership committee. We have in the past had discos, fetes, parties, quiz events, picnics and much more; to be fair; a new committee would probably benefit from some new thinking too.

If a PTA committee is something that you would like to be a part of, and you have creative or organisation genes that you’d like to put to great use for your child‘s school, then please register your interest by emailing and writing 'FOMPS Committee Volunteer' in the subject line. We will host an introductory meeting with all interested parties once we know who you are. There is a significant commitment needed from committee members, but it would be great to have a good sized group to share the load – I already have staff volunteers to represent the T in PTA.
