You will, no doubt, have seen in the national news that there are over 100 schools nationwide, and a significant number in Essex, that have been required, at very short notice, to close areas of their school owing to concerns over RAAC Concrete roofing panels.

I can reassure you that this DOES NOT impact upon Mildmay Primary School in any way. There is no RAAC concrete on our site and we have not been contacted by the authorities with any instruction to close.

We will be opening the school fully and as planned for all children on Tuesday 5^th September. We’re looking forward to seeing you all next week.
